Diana is currently the Head of Programme Support & Senior Gender Advisor at Saferworld. She is a feminist human rights, humanitarian and peacebuilding senior leader with over sixteen years of experience at various organisations, including IOM, UNHCR, IRC and Saferworld. For the past seven years, Diana has headed organisational work on women’s rights and gender research, UK and European policy/advocacy and communications, and as well as programme support across over 15 humanitarian and conflict-affected contexts and thematic areas aligned to GAPS’ strategy. As a Latin American woman, Diana is committed to intersectional feminist ways of working, policy, advocacy, and organisational development, and aims to bring this to GAPS’ Management Board.
