In 2019, the UK Government funded GAPS and its partners to undertake consultations on Women, Peace and Security to mark the 20th anniversary of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 in 2020. Women for Women International conducted a consultation workshop in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) with civil society organisations and experts on Women, Peace and Security. The consultation workshop took place in Goma on Tuesday 18 June 2019.
